Mike Greenberg Says 1 Factor Could Be Affecting The Knicks In Playoffs

The New York Knicks have had no answer for the Miami Heat.

Some might argue that several questionable calls in Game 2 shouldn’t have gone their way, so there’s a big chance this series could’ve ended in just four games, even with Jimmy Butler missing one contest.

Moreover, the Knicks looked exhausted in their two-game trip to South Florida.

And, crazy as it may seem, Mike Greenberg of ESPN speculated that it might have something to do with the weather.

Per Greenberg, players could be worn out because of the change of temperature from New York City’s blistering cold to Miami’s hot weather.

Greenberg admits this is always a factor in football, although he added that basketball is obviously an indoor sport.

All of all the potential reasons, this would be one of the craziest to consider.

Rival teams and pundits often talk about Miami’s nightlife giving their team a bit of an edge, as visitors rarely bare with the temptation and are often lured to the streets to have a good time.

Playing in Denver also gives the home team a bit of an edge, especially in the second half of a game or the backend of back-to-backs because of the thin air from the elevation, but this isn’t the same case here.

The Heat have been the better team on both ends of the floor.

They’ve wanted it more, and they’ve made better adjustments; it’s as simple as that, and they’ll have a prime shot to close them out on Wednesday night.
