The Boston Celtics have been Jayson Tatum’s team for quite a while now, but Jaylen Brown continues to emerge.

He’s no longer the Robin to his Batman and has now become a bit of a 1B to his 1A.

At least, that’s what renowned analyst Doris Burke seems to think, as she recently claimed he’s closed the gaps in terms of the difference level between him and his more famous teammate.

Burke added that Brown still needs to do a better job of taking care of the basketball and not turn the ball over as often.

She also addressed the need for the Celtics to be more aggressive and mentally stronger, citing that she’s not ready to count them out of this series.

There’s no denying that the Celtics have more than enough talent and resources on both ends of the floor to get the job done on the road and then finish the Philadelphia 76ers off at the TD Garden.

But the team has lacked consistency throughout the course of the season, and it feels like their intensity level goes on and off.

The Celtics have played down to their rivals’ level way too often, and their offense has become either stagnant or simply messy from time to time.

Brown has a history of rising up to the occasion when his team needs him the most, as opposed to Tatum.

It’ll be interesting to see who leads when the Celtics look to avoid elimination in their must crucial game of the season.
