With about two months to go before the start of training camps across the NFL, there remains an intriguing veteran player who is still a free agent.
Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh, who joined the Philadelphia Eagles last season, is available, and he could be a helpful addition for a number of teams, even if he won’t be a starter.
Fans who are hoping he will join their team will have to wait a while, as he won’t be making a decision anytime soon since he doesn’t want to take part in training camp.

Suh, who is 36 years of age, also said that “When Week 1 happens I’ll be ready.”
He has spent 13 years in the league and has been to the Super Bowl three times, winning one with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so he can be a veteran presence for whichever team he chooses to play with.
Of course, he also has gained a reputation as one of the NFL’s dirtiest players, although that reputation has waned a bit in recent seasons.
Suh played in eight contests last season, and he recorded 1.0 sacks and two quarterback hits for the Eagles, who reached the Super Bowl only to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is a five-time Pro Bowler and a three-time selection to the All-Pro first team, and he was the Defensive Rookie of the Year back in 2010 with the Detroit Lions, who took him with the No. 2 overall pick in that year’s draft.
