The Tennessee Titans have been a widely-debated topic of conversation during the NFL offseason.

Many fans believe the team should move on from Ryan Tannehill, while others contend that he should hold onto the starting job.

The Titans have invested significant draft capital in quarterbacks over the past two seasons, but haven’t provided additional details about their starter.

In a recent installment of NFL Live, Tim Hasselbeck gave his input on the situation.

“I think Ryan Tannehill would either have to be injured or just play so poorly that they were forced to make a move,” Hasselbeck said.

Tannehill is in the final year of his contract with the Titans.

While he has played well in the past, he has taken a slight dip in production over the past two seasons.

This could be a signal of the beginning of the end for Tannehill, at least in Tennessee.

As Hasselbeck points out, it doesn’t make sense for the Titans to move on from him in 2023.

Hasselbeck also said, “Tannehill has an opportunity to not let it go,” indicating that the starting position is still his to lose.

Will Levis and Malik Willis currently sit behind Tannehill on the depth chart.

If one of them emerges as a favorite in training camp, they could assuredly put pressure on Tannehill, leaving the Titans with a difficult decision.

After their poor season in 2022, the front office isn’t likely to be very patient, especially with an aging quarterback at the helm.

Will Tannehill begin the season as the Titans starter?

Moreover, can he hold onto the starting job for the entire year?
