If you had asked Tae Hyun last year how he would describe his relationship with the TOMORROW X TOGETHER bandmates, he would have probably called them family. Recently though, he found a new way to classify Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai.
“The word ‘team player’ is more precious to me now,” he said result, for a one-on-one interview in Osaka, Japan. “It’s special in itself.”
Given the amount of time the five members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER spend together, the closeness of family makes sense—but it takes a different kind of commitment to be a successful team.
Although Tae Hyun is the second child of TXT, he exudes a unique mature atmosphere. When doing group interviews in a room with his bandmates, he only needs to glance out of the corner of his eye to know who’s ready to answer questions—and, if he senses that no one else is willing to do so, He can put in. During these days spent at TXT Camp, Tae-hyun was in constant communication with those around him, whether it was rehearsing intros and closings, navigating light cues on stage, or producing the most interviews.
TXT’s group dynamics are strong, but the members still have plenty of room to explore and express their personalities. Taehyun is quick-witted, thoughtful, and a great performer, standing out with his athletic dancing and especially vocal talent (just look at the “opening sequence” bridge for proof). When asked how he would like to be described, Tae Hyun used the phrase “a character he has never seen before”. He wanted to be different; he wanted to go his own way—and he hoped to bring him to Switzerland one day to spend some leisure time in the mountains.
