UK Lord Mayor Walks In to Metallica’s “Eye of the Beholder” at Ceremony

The new mayor of Portsmouth, England, took an unconventional approach to his inauguration, using Metallica’s “Eye of the Beholder” as his entrance music.

That was certainly the scene at Portsmouth Town Hall on Tuesday (May 16), when Mayor Tom Coles spoke with …justice for all Track the horn. The pomp and circumstance of the ceremony, contrasted with the rather brutal whipping numbers, is the level of absurdity of a comedy skit.
