Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp have officially announced their “Sunday Lunch Rock Party Tour” will be touring across the UK this autumn. The outing will serve as a celebration of the married couple’s viral “Sunday Lunch” series on YouTube.
While most of the dates have been out for a while, Toyah and Robert shared details of the tour in a new press release. “We’re excited to be bringing our new rock party show to towns and cities across the UK,” said Toyah. “It’s going to be a rock show with a full rock band – an exhilarating show party. Get ready to party, get ready to dance, get ready to hear my serious vocals and Robert’s serious rock guitar!”
The month-long tour will begin on September 30th in Wimborne, UK and run until October 29th in Birmingham, UK.Tickets are available here.
Toyah turns 65 on Thursday (May 18), an occasion Serious consequences Celebrate the couple’s 10 best “Sunday Lunch” performances.
For the past three years, ’80s British new wave crooner Toyah and legendary progressive King Crimson guitarist Robert have been delighting millions every Sunday on YouTube with their racy rock and metal covers. The performances often featured Toyah in risqué attire, singing along to Robert’s guitar playing in the couple’s kitchen.
