The Miami Heat are on a historic run in the NBA playoffs.

Entering as a play-in team and gaining the eighth seed, the Heat proceeded to knock off the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks.

Now they are looking to pull off another upset by taking down the Boston Celtics.

The Heat pulled off victories in Games 1 and 2.

Despite being overlooked in each round, the Heat are in great shape to advance to the NBA Finals.

They are one of the rare teams that have gone up 2-0 by winning two road games.

According to ESPN, road teams that start 2-0 in the conference finals are undefeated.

Miami looks like the far superior team through two games.

They have a massive head coaching advantage with Erik Spoelstra.

They also have the best player in the series, Jimmy Butler.

Miami has yet to face elimination in the playoffs which is something never seen from an eighth seed.

Now the Heat are two home wins away from advancing to the NBA Finals.

The last time an eighth seed made the NBA Finals was in the 1998-99 season.

Despite being underdogs by many NBA fans, the Heat do not view themselves in that light.

Jimmy Butler has mentioned how he and his team do not care how the outside view them.

The Heat have a chance to return to the NBA Finals for the first time since the 2020 bubble season.

It would be shocking if they are not able to do so.
