Nikola Jokic has become one of the most relatable and likable superstars in the NBA.

He’s climbed his way up the ladder and silenced his critics and doubters one by one, finally earning the recognition he deserves after so many people questioned his two MVPs.

The Serbian big man has been absurdly dominant throughout the playoffs, averaging 29.9 points, 10.3 assists, and 13.3 rebounds per game on 53.8% from the floor and 47.4% from beyond the arc, one of the most impressive playoff runs of all time.

He’s also set a new record for the most triple-doubles in a playoff run (8).

If that wasn’t enough, he’s now led the Denver Nuggets to the NBA Finals for the very first time in franchise history, all but cementing himself as the greatest player to ever wear their jersey.

Jokic has never cried for attention or talked a big game; he just does his job, pays respect to his rivals, and heads back home.

No controversy, no big-shot attitude, no nothing, just hoops.

The Nuggets have been stellar on both ends of the floor, with Jamal Murray taking over in the fourth quarter, Michael Porter Jr. knocking down big shots, and Aaron Gordon playing stellar defense.

Once again, having a healthy supporting cast can take any superstar a long way, and the NBA Finals seem Denver’s to lose at this point.

Jokic’s résumé is already Hall of Fame-worthy, and capping this historical season with an NBA championship and NBA Finals MVP award would already cement him as one of the greatest big men in the history of this game.
