The Denver Nuggets have gotten zero respect and attention this season.

They’ve been the best team in the Western Conference by a landslide, and not even making it to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history seems to be enough for them to get the spotlight.

LeBron James’ words about potentially walking away from the game have been all over the news over the past couple of days, which is why Charles Barkley couldn’t hold back his anger following the Boston Celtics’ win over the Miami Heat.

Barkley put the media on blast for not caring about the Nuggets, citing that this moment should’ve been just about Michael Malone, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and them.

Chuck gave the Nuggets their flowers and claimed to be looking forward to going to Denver for the NBA Finals, citing that he’s going to reach out to Broncos coach Sean Payton.

Moreover, he said that he got so mad that he even had to turn his TV off, as everybody was talking about LeBron.

Of course, this wasn’t a knock on James and Barkley reaffirmed that he actually loves LeBron James.

But it’s time the media starts talking about these small-market teams, especially when they earn it.

Coach Malone also ripped the media over the never-ending narratives centered around superstars and teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, while Murray and Jokic said that they’ll only use that as more fuel and motivation to keep making history and everybody remember their names.
