Despite an uncertain macroeconomic backdrop and a lingering debt-ceiling crisis, consumer spending has remained resilient, which some economists say is enough to prevent the economy from slipping into recession. Expect high prices for hotel rooms and airfare this summer as consumer appetite for travel shows no sign of abating. Continued willingness to spend and make travel plans could benefit a large number of stocks in the Invesco Dynamic Leisure and Entertainment ETF (PEJ).
