Bam Adebayo Reacts To Game 5 Loss To Celtics

The Miami Heat shocked the world by taking down the No. 1 seeded Milwaukee Bucks in just five games, following that up with another upset vs. the New York Knicks.

Erik Spoelstra’s team wasn’t satisfied and jumped to a shocking 3-0 lead over the Boston Celtics.

However, it seems like they might be running out of gas or ideas, as the Celtics have stormed right back with two wins in a row to make this a series again.

Even so, Heat star Bam Adebayo feels his team shouldn’t lose confidence.

He claims that no one believed in them when the playoffs started, and they know that they’re still just one win away from making it to the NBA Finals.

Notably, Bam didn’t do a lot to help his team’s cause in Game 5.

He did score 16 points with eight rebounds on 8/15 shooting, but he also had six crucial turnovers and was often exposed offensively.

The Celtics pretty much dared him to take mid-range shots, and he failed to make the most of his physique to post-up smaller players and take them all the way to the rim.

That adjustment has favored the Celtics in back-to-back games, as they’ve forced him to be a creator and put the ball on the floor way more often than he’s used to.

The Heat still could and should take care of business and finish the job when the series heads back home for Game 6, but the Celtics must feel great about themselves after these couple of wins.
