su dog With Yorke serving as executive producer and featuring Clark going in new directions. His first album, “Completely Focused on His Sound,” is a record that showcases the 43-year-old electronic musician in a more intimate and uplifting environment than his previous work.
Single “Medicine” proves it—Clark’s smooth, lilting vocals resonate with intimacy against a slow, stuttering beat and vintage synths. In a press statement, he described the song as “a perfect day out in nature with my wife, but also the chance, the fear of time, the human being as an animal, addiction, inner judgment, and how it always It’s someone else’s narcissism, right?”
Yorke also sang on “Medicine” (and played bass for it), providing a typical Yorke performance over increasingly intense harmonic situations. At the end of his verse, as he croons “Drugs Flood Your Vessels,” the arrangement opens up the strings to swell and the drums to flutter around like synapses.
