On Sunday, the Denver Nuggets are set to host the Miami Heat at Ball Arena in the Mile High City for Game 2, with the team hoping to take a 2-0 series leading before heading across the country to play Game 3 and Game 4 at Kaseya Center in Miami.
Although it is hard to count out a team as resilient as the Heat in any series, with all the success Jimmy Butler and company have had as the underdog in the NBA playoffs thus far, the Nuggets would be in an ideal position with a 2-0 lead before heading on the road.
Ahead of Game 2 in Denver, veteran forward Aaron Gordon spoke to the media about the importance of playing at Ball Arena via the Nuggets’ Twitter account.

The Nuggets haven’t lost a single game on their home floor during the playoffs thus far, which doesn’t bode well for the Heat’s chances of getting the win on Sunday night in Denver.
Even during the regular season, the Nuggets only lost seven games at Ball Arena, and that’s about as impressive as it gets in terms of dominance on their home floor.
Although the Nuggets are a dominant team while playing at home, the Heat have defied the odds throughout the entire postseason and will be looking to do the same as they attempt to compete with Nikola Jokic and company.
It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out in this series and whether the Nuggets can continue to dominate or if the Heat have one more magical run left in them.
