Listen — or read — carefully, NFL fans: Tom Brady is not coming back from retirement.

He’s made it clear over and over, and he recently shut down the rumors of him being an option for the Las Vegas Raiders, stating that he’s done playing for good.

Brady is so done with football that he’s even loosened up a little from his famous dietary and workout regime.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion managed to extend his playing days for way longer than the average player, thanks to his military-like discipline.

He recently admitted that he’s had a little more tequila lately, and he’s thrown way fewer footballs than he usually does.

However, he claims that he still wants to have a long and active life, so he still maintains some level of discipline.

Brady said that he knew he couldn’t cut corners or cheat the process if he wanted to have a long and successful career in the NFL, and one could argue that it definitely paid off.

That’s why young players should take a page from his book.

Brady made plenty of sacrifices throughout his career, both physically, mentally, and even emotionally.

He put football first and foremost all the time, putting his body through some insane workout regimes and even missing time with his friends and family.

He’s now the winningest player in the history of the game and the owner of almost every relevant QB-related stat, so he must know a thing or two about what it takes to succeed as a pro athlete.
