The Denver Nuggets once again made a statement against the Miami Heat, taking Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals on Friday night.

The Western Conference champions walked the same path they followed in Game 3, taking off in the third quarter to beat the Heat.

Denver is on another level compared to Miami, and not many people think they will have a chance to come back in this series.

Still, Nikola Jokic wants to keep everybody focused ahead of Game 5.

The Serbian player sent a big message after the fourth game of the series, reminding everybody that they still need to win one more game before winning the championship.

“It’s still one win,” Jokic said, via ESPN. “We need to win one more. I like that we didn’t relax. We didn’t get comfortable. We were still desperate. We still want it. That’s what makes me happy, that guys didn’t relax.”

Jokic isn’t the most vocal leader on the Nuggets roster, but when he talks, people listen.

It’s easy to feel comfortable when you have a 3-1 advantage, but things can change very fast in the NBA, and the Nuggets know that very well.

The center didn’t record a triple-double on Friday, but he still had a solid game, dropping 23 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing four assists.

Game 5 will be played at Ball Arena, where Nuggets fans will be ready to throw a big celebration if the team closes the deal.

In Kobe Bryant style, Jokic has made it clear the job is not done and the Nuggets should be careful about the early celebrations.

Aaron Gordon had 27 points while Bruce Brown added 21 points, and Jamal Murray played a flawless game with 12 assists with zero turnovers.
