Christopher Lloyd joins cast of Paramount + Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff Knuckle Join Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel.
Details about their roles have been kept under wraps, but a new cast joins Idris Elba, who will reprise his role as Knuckles Sonic the Hedgehog 2and Adam Parley, who returns as Wade Whipple.
Announced in February 2022, the series will follow Knuckles after he “agreed to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the echidna warrior,” according to the official log.it will happen in sonic 2 and an upcoming third film, scheduled for release on December 20, 2024.
sonic 2 Writer John Whittington wrote the pilot and will serve as lead writer along with Brian Schachter and James Madejski. Jeff Fowler, who directed the first two films, will executive produce alongside Whittington, Elba and the rest of the film’s creative team: Original Films’ Neil H. Moritz and Toby Asher And Toru Nakahara.
Knuckle Also featuring resident cast Eddie Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi and Allie Taylor, as well as guest stars Rory McCann and Tika Sumpter reprising their roles as Maddie . It is expected to premiere on Paramount+ later this year.
