New York rock singer Des Rocs has announced his second album, dream machine, Out August 25, from Sumerian Records. Before its release, he released the single “Nowhere Kid”.
Des Rocs, the stage name of Danny Rocco, is making waves with his 2021 debut a really good guy in a really bad placeHe co-produced a new album with Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures) and Matt Wallace (Faith No More, The Replacements).
“Nowhere Kid” follows the previous single “Never Ending Moment,” which was released in April. Of the new song, Rocs said: “‘Nowhere Kid’ is a paean to the lonely. A battle song for anyone struggling with the isolation of modern life. Growing up, I struggled to reconcile my dreams with my surroundings. “
He added: “I’m constantly having an internal monologue, revolving around who I am and who I want to be. It’s my hope that ‘Nowhere Child’ will serve as a light to those struggling with a terrible sense of loneliness.” Man comes out of the darkness.”
Des Rocs recently hosted the Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple music festivals. He will support the new album with a series of North American tour dates, most of which are scheduled for late July.check-in here.
