SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education (JKBOTE) is inviting applications for admission to three-year diploma in polytechnic professional courses (engineering and non-engineering) in all the government or private polytechnics of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for the academic session 2023-2024.
The application process is online. The application window will be open up to June 30, 2023. Applicants must be a domicile of either UT of JK or UT of Ladakh and have passed the secondary school examination (matriculation or equivalent examination) for all courses offered except Medical Lab Technology, for which the applicant must have passed 12th in the medical stream.
Applicants must have obtained 35 percent marks in the 10th/12th class for both open and reserved categories. The required documents for online application include a domicile certificate, marks certificate, date of birth certificate, reserved category certificate, if any, disability certificate (if any), and a photograph.
Selection will be on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10th class/ 12th Class for MLT courses) by the applicants. The fee structure for government polytechnic and private polytechnic colleges will be INR 2,230 and INR 17,335 per annum respectively.
