From 2017 to 2020, quarterback Deshaun Watson proved his worth to the rest of the league as one of the elite players at his position while being the leader under center for the Houston Texans.

Although Watson never experienced the success of being a Super Bowl champion while in Houston, he hopes to change that as he continues his career with the Cleveland Browns.

Watson may have been rusty and out of sorts during his short time running the show for the Browns last year, but he’s already starting to make noise ahead of training camp that his elite form is coming back and ready to be put on display during the 2023 NFL season.

During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski had some interesting and telling things to say about his star quarterback in Cleveland.

With the Browns investing so much money and time into bringing in Watson last year, this season he will be put under the microscope right out of the gate, as fans, pundits, and media members will be critiquing his play with every snap of the football.

Fortunately for Watson, he has an incredibly talented offense at his disposal, with one of the league’s best running backs coming out of the backfield in Nick Chubb to an elite talent at wide receiver in Amari Cooper and a talented receiving corps.

There will be no excuses for Watson in 2023, as this team is ready to compete or, at the very least, be a playoff contender.
