SRINAGAR: Police in Srinagar have apprehended a laboratory technician for issuing a counterfeit and falsified test report for a two-year-old child.
According to a tweet by the Srinagar Police, the lab technician, identified as Rahil Rafiq Dar from Lal-Path Laboratory Batapora in Habbak, was arrested for accepting payment and delivering a fraudulent and forged test report for the aforementioned child.
The police have registered an FIR (First Information Report) under sections 420, 467, 468, and 471 of the Indian Penal Code at Nigeen Police Station. The investigation into the matter is currently underway.
The tweet from the Srinagar Police stated, “A lab technician from Lal-Path Laboratory Batapora, Habbak, named Rahil Rafiq Dar, has been arrested for accepting payment and providing a fake and forged test report for a two-year-old child. FIR no. 74/23 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC registered at Nigeen PS.” (KS)
