The Phillies Continue To Show Off A Rising Star

The Philadelphia Phillies came into this season with World Series expectations.

That was to be expected coming up just two games short of winning the championship last year.

But the Phillies got off to a slow start in 2023.

It seemed like their hitting and pitching could not work in unison.

Yet the Phillies have a roster full of star players and they are finally coming into their own.

The Phillies have won eight of their last 10 games and seem to finally have things clicking.

One player who continues to impress is second baseman Bryson Stott.

This is his second full season in MLB and you can tell he has settled in.

On the year, Stott is hitting .300 with six home runs, 26 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.

The Phillies want to make sure Stott gets the recognition he deserves.

For the Phillies to get back to the postseason they will need continued production from Stott.

He is a solid force in their lineup and someone that plays every day.

It seems certain the Phillies have found their second baseman of the future.

When the Phillies selected Stott in the first round of the 2019 draft this is the player they hoped for.

The Phillies have a record of 33-34 on the year and sit eight games behind the Braves in the NL East.

But if last year taught us anything it is that the Phillies can make a deep run as a Wild Card team.
