SRINAGAR: Police on Friday claimed to have killed five militants in an encounter at Jumagund area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that five foreign militants have been killed in a gunfight in the Jumagand area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In a tweet, while quoting ADGP Kashmir, The Kashmir Zone Police wrote, “KupwaraEncounterUpdate: Five (05) foreign militants killed in encounter. Search in the area is going on.”
