Pete Davidson was charged with reckless driving in a March incident in which his car slammed into the side of a Beverly Hills home.
according to TMZDavidson was hit by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on one count, which could lead to up to 90 days in prison and/or a fine of up to $1,000.
Back in March, Davidson was driving his girlfriend/body body body Co-star Chase Sui Wonders lost control of his Mercedes around 11:00 p.m. in Beverly Hills when TMZ reported he crossed the curb and pulled out a fire hydrant before running into the house, leaving the outside Damaged but did not enter the home. No one was injured in the crash and police do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved. No one was arrested at the time of the accident.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office issued a statement to TMZ saying: “Fortunately, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences. In 2022, the number of traffic deaths in Los Angeles will reach a 20-year high This is a worrying trend that we cannot ignore. It is therefore critical that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.”
