Corey Seager had four hits and three RBIs, while texas rangers come back and beat the visitor toronto blue jays Sunday 11-7pm

Jonah Heim added a solo homer and Ezequiel Duran had four hits for Texas.

Toronto right-hander Chris Bassett allowed 5 runs, 7 hits and 3 walks in 3 2/3 innings.

Texas right-hander Jon Gray allowed six runs, hit six and walked three in 2 1/3 innings.

Toronto scored in the opening game against Gray, who missed the previous game with blistered fingers, and George Springer on a single. Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. were gone, and Daulton Varsho hit a sacrifice fly.

Toronto added four in the second. Alejandro Kirk had his hand hit and was replaced by Danny Jansen, who was forced to second on Espinal Santiago’s grounder. Spencer Horwitz hit a single in his major league debut, Springer walked, Whit Merrifield hit a two-run single and Bichette hit a two-run double.

The lead reached 6-0 in the third quarter, with Varsho and Jansen singles. John King replaced Gray, and Horwitz’s grounder led the way. The Kings (1-0) went on to allow one run in 3 1/3 innings.

Texas scored twice late in the inning with two turnovers, a walk and an RBI single by Josh Jung.

Texas led Nate Pearson (4-1) 8-6 in the fifth. Heim hit his ninth home run of the season. Sacrifice flies by Taveras and Marcus Senien set up a walk and an RBI single,

Springer had an RBI single in the sixth to pull Toronto to one.

Taveras hit his eighth homer of the season after Duran singled out against Adam Simber in the seventh. Semien doubled down. Mitch White replaced Cimber and let Seager run a single.

Joe Barlow pitched a single for Texas in the ninth.
