Ahead of their upcoming co-headlining “A Summer Odyssey Tour,” Baker and Phoenix share a new collaborative single, the aptly titled “Odyssey.” Check it out below.
“Odyssey” is an energetic hyper-electronic track, where bass, synths, and marimba come together for an energetic summer theme. Written and produced by Beck and Phoenix, and remixed by Serban Ghenea, the song sees Beck and Thomas Mars exchanging verses (“You may have to lose to win,” Mars sings), before singing together: “Somewhere/We’ll fall Into the ocean / I’ll be there / Odyssey in the sun.”
The “Summer Odyssey” will kick off on August 1 and will feature support from Jenny Lewis, Sir Chloe, Japanese Breakfast and Weyers Bullard on select dates.Tickets are on sale here.
Phoenix’s last album is due in 2022 Alpha Zulu, Earlier this year, they shared a remix of their album cut “After Midnight,” starring Clairo.Back in February, Baker followed up with his 2019 album hyperspace Single “Thinking About You”.
