The Miami Heat finished an incredible playoff run that saw them go from the eighth seed in the conference to the NBA Finals.

Nobody saw that run coming especially because they did it without one of their top players.

Tyler Herro broke his hand in their first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

He missed the rest of the playoffs and the Heat missed his scoring ability in the Finals.

Now Miami is rumored to be looking to make a big move this offseason.

They were in on a potential deal for Bradley Beal and have a serious interest in Damian Lillard.

According to ESPN, Heat President Pat Riley said Herro is an “anchor” and the team wants to build around him.

Herro averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists this past season.

Yet the Heat are interested in acquiring a star player like Lillard.

To do so they will most likely have to trade Herro.

The Heat have made the Finals two times in the last four seasons.

They did so with the core of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Herro.

But being unable to win the championship could cause Riley to make some moves.

One thing the Heat have going for them is their head coach.

Erik Spoelstra is one of the best in the league and he gets the best out of his team each year.

So no matter who is in a Heat uniform next year the Heat should be able to compete for a title.
