Welcome to another episode of ‘Billionaires,’ taking a break from ‘World Destruction’ to gossip online: Mark Zuckerberg accepts challenge Race to Elon Musk’s cage.
On Tuesday, Twitter owner Musk responded to a post that Meta owner Zuckerberg was preparing to compete with Musk’s social media site, saying: “If he is, I’m ready for a cage match.” Of course, Zuckerberg responded on Meta-owned Instagram, posting a screenshot of Musk’s tweet with the additional comment, “Send me location.”
As Meta prepares its own text-based social media platform, chief product officer Chris Cox mocked the platform as a “robustly functioning” alternative to Twitter. The company is said to be in talks with the likes of Oprah and the Dalai Lama to become early adopters of the platform.
Meta spokesperson Iska Saric said that while it all looked like premature gestures edge Zuckerberg wasn’t joking about getting into a fight. “The story speaks for itself,” he said.
It’s hard to imagine any billionaire fighting, though Zuckerberg clearly loves it exercise these days.If a cage match happens, let’s hope it continues Titanic Not good for either of them.
