Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs is already one of the NFL’s all-time greatest tight ends, as he has two Super Bowl championships, eight Pro Bowl nods, and four All-Pro first-team selections to his name.
Even though he is 33 years of age, he appears to have lots of football left in the tank.
As he waits for training camp to open ahead of the 2023 season, he has taken on a leadership role by coaching some other tight ends at the annual Tight End University.

This past season, Kelce had a banner campaign, putting up 1,338 yards and a career-high 12 touchdowns.
After Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins last offseason, he took on a greater workload, as he also set career highs in targeted passes and receptions.
This coming season, Kelce may need to carry even more of a burden, as JuJu Smith-Schuster, who had more receiving yards than any other Chiefs wide receiver, left to become a member of the New England Patriots.
Perhaps Kelce isn’t seen as being quite as legendary as Rob Gronkowski or Shannon Sharpe, but he is quickly approaching the stratosphere that they’re found in.
In addition to replacing Smith-Schuster’s production this fall and winter, Kansas City will have to contend with an improved AFC, which has a number of teams that are perhaps capable of taking away their crown.
The Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills in particular are chomping at the bit to go at the reigning world champs and end their reign of AFC supremacy, at least for the moment.
