For years, Dwyane Wade dominated the NBA hardwood like few players were ever able to do.
Then, the three-time NBA champion took his talents to the front office, becoming a minority owner of the Utah Jazz.
Now, Wade is looking forward to taking another step forward in the basketball industry, as he recently confirmed his interest in investing in the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, as noted by SportsCenter on Twitter.

Wade stated that he hadn’t made a decision about whether to put his money there or not, but he was in attendance at practice and has reportedly been in touch with the team’s ownership for quite a while now.
The legendary shooting guard has found success as a businessman after his illustrious career in the National Basketball Association.
Wade made it to the league as a part of that legendary 2003 NBA Draft, with the Miami Heat taking him No. 5 overall, shortly after LeBron James, Darko Milicic, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh.
It didn’t take long before Wade led the Heat to the very first NBA championship in franchise history, and he later agreed to embrace a bit of a lesser role to make room for LeBron and Bosh, making it to four more trips to the NBA Finals and winning two more rings.
Wade eventually left South Beach and had brief stints with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers before going back home for his farewell season.
But even after all he gave to the game of basketball, he still wants to be tied to it.
