The New York Jets‘ 2023 offseason has been filled with roster changes and acquisitions.

While Aaron Rodgers was certainly the team’s biggest signing, the Jets made moves on several other players, particularly on offense.

One might infer that the Jets are done making moves, especially on offense, but that may not be the case.

Tyler Conklin, one of the Jets’ tight ends, recently commented on the possibility of the team adding Dalvin Cook.

When discussing Cook’s potential role on the Jets in a Sirius XM Radio call, Conklin said, “There’s definitely a spot for him.”

Conklin and Cook played together on the Minnesota Vikings, and it appears that Conklin would be pleased with a reunion.

However, the Jets currently have Breece Hall and Michael Carter, both of who are highly-regarded running back prospects.

Hall is coming off an ACL tear.

While he is projected to begin the season on the field, it’s difficult to tell how a player will bounce back from an injury of that magnitude.

Any sort of unavailability for Hall could force the Jets to add a veteran back to their roster, making sure they have enough depth to cover any needs.

Whether the team is considering Cook to join their roster remains to be seen.

If Conklin’s comments are any indication, however, he would certainly be accepted by his future teammates, should he be signed by the Jets.

Rodgers was brought to the Jets in hopes that they would break their streak of missing the playoffs.

Will they be able to do so with their current cast of characters?
