SRINAGAR: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir’s Social Welfare Department, Civil Secretariat, has issued Government Order No 146-JK(SWD) of 2023, announcing transfers and postings of officials in a recent development.
These transfers and postings follow the placement of Junior Scale Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers in the Social Welfare Department by the General Administration Department.
Ms Kailash Devi, Junior Scale JKAS, currently serving as Assistant Director (Schemes) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Janmrn, has been appointed as the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) for the Poshan Project in Jammu. She will relieve Ms Shakshi Mahajan, Junior Scale JKAS, from her additional charge.
Dr Pallavi Sharma, Junior Scale JKAS, who currently holds the position of CDPO in Reasi and an additional charge of District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) in Reasi, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director (Schemes) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu, replacing Ms Kailash Devi.
Ms Sheetal, Junior Scale JKAS, has been designated as CDPO for Samba, replacing Ms. Karnla Devi, Assistant Child Development Project Officer (ACDPO). Ms. Karnla Devi’s services will be placed at the disposal of the Mission Director of Mission Poshan for further posting.
Varun Kumar Choudhary, Junior Scale JKAS, will assume the role of DSWO in Kathua, replacing Mr. Abdul Rahim, Junior Scale JKAS.
Sumit Suri, Junior Scale JKAS, will be posted as DSWO in Reasi and will also hold an additional charge as CDPO of Reasi.
