Kelsea Ballerini is the latest musician to be hit by an object while performing on stage.
Ballerini was hit in the face by what looked like a bracelet during a concert in Boise, Idaho, on Wednesday.
Ballerini temporarily suspended the concert and went backstage. Before resuming the show, she told the audience: “Can we talk about what happened? All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you don’t feel safe, let those around you know. If anyone is asking too much , or you just have this hunch, make sure to flag it. Don’t throw things. You know?”
Unfortunately, such incidents are becoming commonplace. Last year, Harry Styles Getting hit in the eye by Skittles, Kid Cudi ended a show after being hit by a bottle. Since then, things have gotten worse: Last week, pop singer Bebe Rexha needed stitches after a man threw a phone in her face. While P!NK avoided any physical harm, she was definitely traumatized when a girl threw her mother’s ashes onto the stage.
guys. I know we all mean well. We all want to show Kelsey love in the best way we know how and send her all the gifts. But it’s not a smart move to throw something on a stage where the artist is already so vulnerable. If you can’t make it to her, there are plenty of other options. host,… pic.twitter.com/oIgy2JDn3V
