2 Teams Named As Likely Landing Spots For Bruce Brown

The Denver Nuggets’ championship run wasn’t a coincidence; it had been years in the making.

The team was carefully put together, with every single piece having and embracing a clear role.

And while Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Aaron Gordon obviously did most of the heavy lifting, they had Bruce Brown Jr. there to do the dirty work.

Brown had inexplicably signed a bargain deal with the Nuggets in the offseason, and now that he’s introduced himself to the world, it’s evident that he’s going to get a much bigger bag this time around.

With that in mind, Legion Hoops reports that the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers are currently the leading candidates to acquire his services.

Brown’s elite defense and unmatched hustle will make him a perfect addition for any championship contender.

Dating back to his days with the Brooklyn Nets, he proved that he could handle his own in the paint as a small-ball center, even despite his evident lack of height.

He can guard one through five, crashes the board, plays away from the ball as a slasher, knocks down shots, and he’s the kind of guy who will never hesitate to put his body on the line.

Brown backed up his trash-talking on the floor and played himself into a contract bigger than what the Nuggets will be able to offer him at this time.

It’ll be interesting to see how much money he can get after this impending bidding war is over.
