July is the ideal month to enjoy summer at its fullest. Schools are off, summer break is in, and the weather is to die for. However, deciding where to go in July can be a challenge as many destinations are fully booked or too crowded.

Based on what interests one, SchengenVisaInfo.com has compiled a list of destinations to visit this July – the best places to make the best memories.

France

The best parties are organised at one time and one place, in July at Saint Tropez. This place is popular for being an elite resort, while the country, in general, has some of the most popular destinations in the world – glamorous beaches, fairytale castles and urban elegance.

According to Hikers Bay, some of the most recommended places to visit include the wide Parisian boulevards, the Loire Valley countryside, gourmet restaurants in Lyon and the unique charm of Corsica.

Spain

The Mediterranean climate of France also is found in Spain, which is characterised by fresh and warm summers. Ibiza is the second most popular place for parties, as it has entertaining nightlife but also numerous beaches to enjoy the daytime, too.

The most famous beach in Ibiza, Las Salinas, is located in the south of the island and is connected with the rest of the island. Some other destinations that are worth visiting include Talanca, Figueretas and Playa den Bossa.

Portugal

While the first two destinations were more luxurious and fun times, especially for younger holidaymakers, Portugal is a great place to unwind and relax.

Every kind of visitor can find their thing to do, but the Iberian country is definitely ideal for those that want to spend some calm and relaxed vacations. Portugal has it all; beautiful landscapes, rich history and culture and the cuisine is phenomenal. Many might not know, but Portugal has some of the tastiest wine in the world, and anyone who visits should not leave this place without having a glass of Mosaraz, while wine lovers should go on a wine-tasting tour, as every region has its own type of wine.
