China’s factory activity growth slowed in June, a private sector survey showed on Monday, confirming official data last week that showed slow growth in the world’s second-largest economy.

The Caixin/S&P global manufacturing PMI slipped to 50.5 in June from 50.9 in May. Economists had expected a June reading of 50.2, according to a Reuters poll. 50 points is the dividing line between expansion and contraction.

China’s official manufacturing PMI came in at 49.0 in June, compared with 48.8 in May, data from China’s National Bureau of Statistics showed on Friday.
