The Philadelphia Eagles have absolutely everything in their favor to make it back to the Super Bowl next season.

They’re so deep at every single position that they even have the luxury of having an Olympic track-and-field athlete sitting on their bench.

Recently, undrafted WR Devon Allen ran the fourth fastest 110-meter hurdles race of the year, which is why he — obviously — has bragging rights as the fastest man in the National Football League, even ahead of the likes of Tyreek Hill and DK Metcalf.

Allen claimed, via ProFootballTalk, he wasn’t taking a shot at any of his colleagues and even tipped his hat off to them.

Nonetheless, the numbers speak for themselves, and he’s one of the fastest people in the nation; that’s just a fact.

Allen pursued a different path before going back to the gridiron to try and make an NFL team’s roster, and the sole fact that he had the opportunity to fulfill that dream speaks volumes of his conditioning as a world-class athlete.

Of course, speed isn’t everything you need to find success in the NFL, and Allen might not even be a part of the team’s roster this season as he gets ready to continue his impressive track-and-field career.

But still, it would be more than interesting to see the three of them settle this by running a 110-meter dash for charity; that’s an event countless NFL fans would definitely pay to watch.

You know Hill is paying attention to everything people say, and he will never hesitate to prove he’s still the fastest guy in the league.
