The Tennessee Titans will enter the 2023 season with a new asset, as DeAndre Hopkins has signed with the team.

Before this move, the Titans weren’t being talked about as a contender in the AFC, let alone in their division.

However, due to Hopkins’ track record as an elite receiver, those talks have quickly heated up.

In a recent segment of “Speak” on FS1, Emmanuel Acho outlined his newfound expectations for the Titans.

After this move, Acho said that he believes the Titans are “capable of beating anybody.”

After saying this, Acho qualified his statement, saying, “I’m not saying that they will beat anybody,” but that he thinks that they are now capable of doing so.

The Titans finished the 2022 season with a record of 7-10, putting them in second place in the AFC South.

Adding Hopkins could be a great factor for their offense, given the amount of experience that he has in the league.

The AFC is loaded, particularly with elite, young quarterback talent.

If the Titans are going to make any sort of jump this season, they’ll need to do so with strong offensive performances, along with above-average defense.

One thing the Titans have going for them is their strength of schedule to begin the season.

In their first five games, the Titans will face the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, and Indianapolis Colts.

The Browns struggled last season, and the Saints and Colts will likely have new starting quarterbacks at the beginning of the year.

If they experience any growing pains, the Titans could swoop in, potentially winning at least three of their first five games.

Will Hopkins’ presence be enough for the Titans to get over the hump?
