Mudvayne kicked off their first official headline tour in 14 years on Thursday night (July 20) at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event, called The Psychotherapy Conference, was supported by the Coal Chamber, GWAR, Nonpoint and Butcher Babies, Tickets can be purchased here.
Mudvayne reunites in 2021 after a hiatus in 2010. While the tour marks Mudvayne’s first solo lead since 2009, the band does co-host the “Freaks on Parade Tour” with Rob Zombie in 2022.
For Thursday night’s show, Mudvayne performed 15 songs, including seven from their classic 2000 album, LD50. In recent months, frontman Chad Gray has hinted on social media that new music is in the works.
Meanwhile, for Coal Chamber, this marks their first official tour in eight years, following several festival appearances in recent weeks. Dez Fafara and his band performed 12 songs, including four from their self-titled 1997 debut album and 2002 debut album dark days.
Of course, GWAR brought blood and grit to their set, which includes four songs from their latest album, new dark age.Star Savages recently expanded their “Bud of Gods” CBD line with a new line of “New Dank Ages” products including cannabis flower, gummies, vape pods, and a new addition of shot glasses and t-shirts, all available at aftermath shop.
