Stephen A. Smith Calls Out Paul George And Kawhi Leonard Over Missed Games

The Los Angeles Clippers may be at a crossroads with the franchise not seeing a return on their investments in superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Although George and Leonard are arguably the two best two-way players in the NBA today, neither player can stay healthy enough to help the Clippers achieve their goal of winning a championship, nor are they even able to get close to that feat.

That’s a significant concern for the Clippers front office, especially with both players eligible for contract extensions this year, and some big decisions need to be made about the franchise’s future.

One of the primary reasons these decisions need to be made is that the team is set to move into the Intuit Dome next year and start a new era of Clippers basketball with their own arena.

The team wants a winner with star players that fans want to see before moving into that arena, meaning this is an essential year for owner Steve Ballmer and company.

Recently, George went in on ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on Podcast P with Paul George, and the analyst has responded by ripping George and Leonard for missed time.

Ever since the Clippers brought in George and Leonard, there have been nothing but failed expectations in Los Angeles due to the constant injury problems with the team’s superstars, and that might not ever change.

The 2023-24 NBA season will be a telling one for the Clippers as it could be the tipping point for Ballmer if this team can stay healthy and finally make a strong push to win a title.
