A woman sitting in her car was randomly shot in the Lower East Side Saturday, police said.

The 28-year-old victim was parked on Orchard Street near Stanton Street just before 7 p.m. when she was struck by the bullet, according to the NYPD.

She was hit in the left arm and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police do not believe she was the intended target.

Investigators are on the hunt for a four-door SUV that they believe was the source of the gunshot.

The broad daylight shooting occurred on a busy street home to numerous restaurants and storefronts — including a podcast studio directly in front of where the gunfire erupted.

The investigation is ongoing.
