The Arizona Cardinals have gone through some drastic changes during this NFL offseason and battling through a forgettable 2022 campaign, which resulted in four wins, a last-place finish in the NFC West and an injured star quarterback.
Kyler Murray’s 2022 season came to an end with the Cardinals after he suffered a torn ACL injury, which is always a scary situation for a quarterback that relies on his mobility to make an impact on the field consistently.
Although Murray is a talented young quarterback and will almost certainly bounce back from this knee injury, he has expressed some doubt about his confidence level when he is officially healthy enough to get back on the field for Arizona.
According to Kyle Odegard of Compare.bet, Murray bumped into Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow during a UFC fight and asked him about recovering from the ACL injury he suffered during his rookie season in the NFL.
Burrow admitted that he had to work past being hesitant in the pocket, and Murray believes that his confidence will be shaky initially, but with time he’ll get back to form.
Kyler Murray saw Joe Burrow at a UFC fight this offseason and they talked about their torn ACLs. Burrow said he had to work past his initial hesitancy in the pocket.
Kyler: “The first time I’m out there I might be (nervous), but with the reps, the confidence will grow and grow.”

Currently, there’s no timetable for Murray’s return to the gridiron as he is still working to get his knee back to where he feels comfortable enough to get back to work.
The Cardinals’ upcoming season could be another rough one for Arizona, with the team recently releasing five-time All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and star defensive end J.J. Watt recently announcing his retirement from the NFL.
