The Buffalo Bills were part of one of the most shocking moments in major sports history last season.

The NFL even suspended their clash vs. the Cincinnati Bengals after watching Damar Hamlin collapse on the field and being rushed to the hospital.

Hamlin spent some time in the ICU after suffering cardiac arrest, and some questioned whether he would be able to be back on the field at some point.

He worked tirelessly to get back to full strength and was recently cleared to participate in the team’s training camp.

That’s why GM Brandon Beane talked to SiriusXM NFL Radio about how proud he is for all the hard work and discipline he’s had throughout the whole process.

Beane said that having him back on the field after what he went through is nothing short of a miracle, adding that the team has repeatedly reached out to him in regards to taking things slow if he needs more time to get ready.

The GM states he’s still a ways away from getting all this behind him, stating that they still need to get past the first preseason game and then the first regular season game.

Notably, it didn’t take long before Hamlin felt like he was back, as he already stole all the headlines for intercepting a pass during training camp.

This will definitely be a very emotional season for Hamlin and the Bills, and they could use that as the fuel and motivation they need to get over the hump.
