Dan Orlovsky Voices Concerns About Dak Prescott’s Image Around The NFL

It’s been quite a long while since the Dallas Cowboys were considered a legit Super Bowl contender.

Truth be told, they have a talented roster nowadays and should be edging closer to the top tier in the NFC.

However, no one seems to be taking them seriously with Dak Prescott as their quarterback, and reports from training camp have been far from encouraging.

From head-scratching picks to an altercation with star CB Trevon Diggs, it doesn’t seem like Prescott is in mid-season form.

Or is he?

Prescott recently stated that he’s not going to force so many throws, which led to him leading the league in interceptions last season.

That’s why former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky is quite concerned about everything he’s seen and heard of Prescott during training camp, and said as much on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Orlovsky believes this could be a make-or-break season for Prescott, and the way he’s talked and how he looks out there makes it seem like he’s going to play scared and avoid taking risks, which is only going to make things worse for him.

The Cowboys are expected to restructure his contract next season to avoid a massive cap hit.

It seems like they’re stuck with Prescott for the time being, and it’s not like Jerry Jones has made any comments indicating at a potential quarterback change in the foreseeable future.

But the harsh reality is that, barring a major turn of events no one but their fans have foreseen, there’s little chance they go the distance with Prescott at quarterback.
