The Los Angeles Angels were one of the more aggressive buyers this year at the trade deadline.
They made a ton of key moves, adding pieces such as Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, Randal Grichuk, and C.J. Cron.
Unfortunately, the Halos have gone into freefall mode since buying at the deadline.
They have now lost each of their last five games and have dropped to six games back in the Wild Card race.
They entered August five games above the .500 mark but have now slipped back to that mark.
On Twitter, Jon Morosi of MLB Network took note of how badly the Halos have been struggling since the trade deadline.
The Angels are 0-5 since the Trade Deadline.
Their last 3 losses were by a total of 5 runs.
Thursday, they gave up a 9th-inning grand slam.
Tonight, they had poor luck on a ground-rule double that would have tied the score in the 9th.

The Angels’ last three losses have been by a total of five runs.
It was a ninth-inning grand slam that cost the Angels on Thursday night when they were just two outs away from defeating the Seattle Mariners.
On Saturday, they had some bad luck with a ground-rule double, which would have tied the game had it not hopped over the wall.
Los Angeles is now 3-7 in their last 10 games.
With Shohei Ohtani in the final year of his contract, the Angels were aggressive at the trade deadline and did everything they could to strengthen their roster and take a shot at reaching the postseason in what could be the last year they have Ohtani and Mike Trout together.
But the Angels are starting to slip in the standings and are going to need to turn things around quickly if they want to stay in Wild Card contention.
