Lamar Jackson And Odell Beckham Jr. Keep Showing A Special Connection

After an offseason of uncertainty and anxiety, the Baltimore Ravens are going through training camp with a fair amount of optimism.

A few months ago, it looked like star quarterback Lamar Jackson was on his way out after failing to agree to a new contract, but the team finally caved into his demands and gave him a huge new contract.

Baltimore has also signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and he is looking to rebound after a devastating ACL injury he suffered in Super Bowl LVI as a member of the Los Angeles Rams.

Jackson and Beckham are working on their chemistry, and they hooked up on a beautiful long touchdown reception during practice recently, via the team’s Twitter account.

Several years ago, Beckham was one of the NFL’s top wide receivers, and in each of his first three seasons, he had over 1,300 receiving yards while making the Pro Bowl.

But the multiple injuries he has suffered since, including two torn ACLs, have seemingly robbed him of a significant amount of his ability.

In Baltimore, he will team up with tight end Mark Andrews, who is one of the best at his position in the league, as well as first-round draft pick Zay Flowers, who has plenty of potential.

The Ravens may not finish first in the AFC North, but then again, with the status of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in doubt because of a calf strain, perhaps the window will be open for them to do just that.

Last year, they won 10 games and were competitive in the playoffs against the Bengals even though Jackson missed the last five regular season games and the Wild Card round with a knee injury.
