SRINAGAR: Two women suspects have been apprehended for their involvement in an incident where a girl was assaulted and injured within a store situated along Boulevard Road in the Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
The affected young woman’s condition remains stable, and she has been transferred to a medical facility.

In a Twitter post, the Srinagar Police said, “The individuals in question, Ms Urfana Bhat & Ms. Rukhsana, both residents of Nishat, have been detained in connection with the assault and injury inflicted upon a girl within a store at Boulevard Road. The case, registered as FIR no. 119/2023 under pertinent sections at the RM Bagh Police Station, has led to the arrest. The wellbeing of the victimized young lady is presently secure, and she has been relocated to a medical facility.”
