Angel Hernandez is one of the most controversial figures in all of sports.
The longtime MLB umpire has constantly found himself at the center of discussions when it comes to bad calls.
As such, he is an umpire that teams and their players often times vent their frustrations towards for bad calls.
However, Jon Heyman of the New York Post offered a unique perspective on Hernandez.
On Twitter, Heyman took aim at the controversial MLB umpire and gave him a subtle jab, saying that he didn’t think Hernandez was a bad umpire, but rather, that he just has his own strike zone.

Hernandez is no stranger to controversy.
He was behind the plate for Saturday’s game between the New York Yankees and Miami Marlins.
The longtime umpire made several controversial strike calls and was hearing it from both teams’ benches.
Some may see this as Heyman complimenting Hernandez as an umpire.
However, it’s more likely a subtle jab at the controversial umpire for some of the calls he makes.
These days, umpires seem to be constantly getting away with bad calls.
Hernandez has been around for quite some time and is one of baseball’s longest-tenured umpires.
Over the years, several players and their teams have vented their wrath towards him over controversial calls, whether it’s balls and strikes or plays on the bases.
That didn’t change at all on Saturday night.
Sandy Alcantara threw a complete game against the Yankees, but may have benefitted from what Heyman refers to as Hernandez’s own strike zone.
