Ezekiel Elliott has officially found a new home on the New England Patriots.

Elliott and Dalvin Cook spent most of the offseason searching for a new team.

Coincidentally, on the same day Elliott signed a deal with the Patriots, Cook signed one with the New York Jets.

Elliott will now work alongside Rhamondre Stevenson in this offense, likely taking a similar rushing approach as the Cleveland Browns did in 2022.

After Elliott was signed, known Dallas Cowboys fan Skip Bayless made his voice heard.

“I will not fear him when the Patriots play at JerryWorld on Oct. 21,” Bayless said.”

“JerryWorld” is about AT&T Stadium, the home of the Cowboys.

Given the Patriots’ schedule, Elliott will have an opportunity to return to his old home stadium, hoping to prove the organization wrong.

While it appears Bayless wanted to wish Elliott well in his new endeavor, he doesn’t believe he’ll be a threat when they play the Cowboys.

Elliott was a staple of the Cowboys’ offense since he was drafted in 2016.

Due to disputes with his contract, Elliott was released in the early stage of the offseason.

He and Stevenson are slated to be a two-headed monster in the Patriots’ backfield.

Will the addition of Elliott transform an offense that struggled last year?

Many analysts have said throughout the offseason that Bill Belichick is on the hot seat, especially if the Patriots miss the playoffs.

Mac Jones is also under fire, and will likely benefit from having two elite rushers in the same backfield.
