Dalvin Cook Sends Strong Message On His Duo With Breece Hall

After he was released by the Minnesota Vikings during the offseason, running back Dalvin Cook took his sweet time in deciding which team he would join as a free agent.

There was plenty of speculation that he would end up signing with the Miami Dolphins, and it was an outcome that would’ve made a lot of sense since he’s originally from Miami.

But earlier this week, Cook ended that speculation by becoming a member of the New York Jets.

Some are now wondering if the Jets have the best running back duo in the NFL with Cook and Breece Hall, but Cook feels it isn’t even a question, as he declared on Twitter.

As a rookie last season, Hall, who was taken in the second round of the 2022 draft, ran for 463 yards and four touchdowns while averaging a hearty 5.8 yards per carry.

He also added 19 catches for 218 yards and a touchdown.

But he tore both his ACL and meniscus in Week 7, and he was only activated off the PUP list on Tuesday.

Cook, meanwhile, has been one of the NFL’s most productive tailbacks for some time.

In each of the last four seasons, he made the Pro Bowl while running for over 1,100 yards, and he is also something of a dual-threat running back who can catch passes out of the backfield.

The spotlight is definitely on the Jets, especially after his addition, as it seems to be Super Bowl or bust for them this season after they traded for Aaron Rodgers.
